Scott moved to Mira Mesa in 1974 and graduated from Mira Mesa High School in 1984. He got his real estate license in 1985 and his Brokers License in 1989. Scott became the sales manager of RC Realty (formerly Red Carpet Realty) in 1990 and then became Broker of record in 2003 when Dave Chambless, whom opened RC Realty in 1975, turned the office over to Scott.
